Awakenings Astrology & Women's Gatherings 2010

I. Introduction To Astrology

Awakenings & Nikki Worth are introducing this opportunity for those of you who are interested in exploring their own birth chart, to come together throughout 10 weekly sessions, to learn about astrology and to also share their experiences.

The purpose of this introductory and experiential course is to teach the basic principles of western astrology, and is suitable for those with little or no astrological knowledge. It explores the characteristics of the planets (the players) and incorporates the zodiac signs (the scripts) and the houses (the scenes).

This course offers you the chance to experience astrology on a personal level, and each experience is different. So students are encouraged to ask questions and participate in group discussions to get the most out of each class. A willingness to learn more about yourself and others enhances your enjoyment and success.

This course focuses on natal astrology and enabling each student to begin to read and interpret their own birth chart. Therefore, your birth chart will be explored and discussed during the class. So remember to provide your birth date, time and location when registering.

Nikki, as the facilitator, enjoys sharing her knowledge with others and helping people understand how the planets affect us, revealing our potentials, karma, and soul purpose and how it helps us deal with the practical issues of life -such as relationships, career, children and health. Nikki's astrology classes introduce you to a self-help tool that you can use every day.

II. Women's Gathering

In 2010 Awakenings & Kerry Anne Angwin are introducing the opportunity for women who are interested in exploring their intuitive and spiritual development, to come together in a regular, informal gathering to share their experiences.

The Women's Gathering is a natural extension of the Book/Discussion Groups which Lena has facilitated for several years. In 2010 Awakenings Book Groups have evolved into an informal and sharing format, suitable for both previous and new participants.

Kerry, as the facilitator will present an interesting topic at each monthly gathering, with ideas for participants to explore and share.

The themes include: Personal Spiritual Development; Your Soul Contracts & Purposes; and Introducing Messages to you from the World Around You. .

Each session aims to incorporate discussion, information and experiential activities to illustrate the various themes that arise, such as - chakras, auras, protection, etc.
